EVENT RULES & PARKING /
Please review COVID guidelines from
the CDC here. If you feel sick or have a
fever, refrain from coming to the park.
The fireworks may be viewable from
your house or other areas while in
your vehicle. It will be crowded. Masks
are recommended but not enforced. An
EMT will be available to assist with any
injuries or illness while at the event.
Please no digging or driving stakes
into the ground for canopies
or tents. Canopies and tents may
only be used within the marked
areas along the edge of the grass.
The center of the park must be
kept clear of obstructions for
personnel in case of an emergency.
Nolow hibachi style grills. Young
children tend to run around and we
don't want anyone falling on top of
a grill. Keep them waste high.
No glass bottles or containers of any
kind. Restrooms, hand washing
stations and trash cans will be
provided throughout the venue.
Please keep your area clean and
leave the park looking better than
when you found it.
Parking is a challenge during the event,
especially later in the day past 3pm. Parking is available near the baseball fields west of the park venue. ADA spaces are reserved along the round driveway at the entrance to the baseball fields and adjacent to Murray Park Dr.
No parking is allowed on Murray Park Dr. directly in front of Lake Murray Park. Only vehicles dropping off or picking up are allowed along the curb. Following the fireworks, all cars parked within the baseball field lots will be directed out to Park Ridge through the tennis courts lot on the west side. There will be no exit from the baseball fields through the roundabout.
Volunteers are needed the morning of July 5th to help pick up trash and gather signage from the event. If you can help, please meet around 8a at the park and check-in with volunteer coordinators for available duties that need to be filled.
